The essence of Easy Crew is peaceful living, to change people of all nations, for a more just and peaceful world.

All people of every nation, culture and religous beliefs, throughout the world, can become Easy Crew. We are all one people and live in the same world, striving for the same goal in life. The goal is to live and assist our neighbours to live in peace, put asside the greed and banish poverty that is poisoning our world. To some people this may be a pipe dream but with the teaching and meaning behind Easy Crew you can help to change our world, promote peace and reduce poverty worldwide..

So What is Easy Crew?

My name is Etus Allison, known as Fitzy or “Easy Man” So how did Easy Crew come about? It’s a true story.

I was Born in Jamaica 6 July 1953 . I was brought up by my Grandmother from the age of five, she was very strict as a parent and instilled a lot of discipline in me, but She taught me right from wrong. There was an old man that used to come around to our house my grandmother did not like him because of the way he looked, he had dreadlocks and in her eyes people should be scared of men like that.

I was only 5 and I liked the old man because he would always give me a hand shake and say “Peace and love my friend, Take it easy” Nothing my grandmother would say or do would make me afraid of him or dislike him. He made me feel safe and at peace when I was around him, manly because of his handshake and the words he used.

I have always said the word “EASY” through out my life because my grandmother also used to say to me” take it EASY and you will find peace”, I knew the old man meant that too.

The actual word Easy Crew came from a holiday to Ayianapa, I had arranged the holiday for15 friends and me to fly from Bristol airport. We were arguing one night about how to get to the airport and one of the guys suggested all putting in £15.00 and getting a limousine. With that in mind I thought it would be a good idea for all of us to have T-shirts made so we all looked the same, straight away I thought of the word “EASY and as there was 15 of us, we were a “CREW” We needed some identity like a symbol, but I knew nothing about designing logos, one of the guys said he knew a girl that could design one, she had a degree in art. I approached her and she agreed to design a logo. I had no idea what she would come up with I just left it up to her.

Two days later, the logo designer, presented her efforts to me. I could not believe my eyes, the design was perfect and completely symbolised that old man shaking my hand and telling me “peace and love my friend”. It made me feel very close to those days when I was a boy.

The girl's design is the one we are using on this site to promote peace and love around the world and I hope it will become a mark of distinction and that people all over the world will wear it and in turn promote PEACE.

My grandmother and that old man played such an important part of my life they are the reason I have become the person I am today so I will never forget their words

I want people around the world to feel the way I feel. I want to promote the logo as much as possible. therefore. we have kept the prices of our merchandise to a minimum.

You can be that person in the hammock, so wear yourself

Someone had forgotten to tell the world to start shaking hands again, so go now and shake hands with as many people as possible and see how good you feel and the world will begin to be a better place.
